    kGoal y Embarazo

    Recomendamos consultar con tu médico sobre si y cuándo utilizar kGoal durante el embarazo y el periodo de recuperación posparto. En general, sugerimos esperar al menos las primeras 6 semanas después del parto.

    Si experimentas dolor al usar kGoal, por favor deja de usarlo y consulta con un profesional de la salud. I am very happy with the product!

I am very happy with the product! It works really well as a biofeedback but I like the vibration to help with squeezing. I also like the option for setting up your own workout but I will have to work a little bit more with that. I'm not great with technology but it is very user friendly which I like.

Jedna z najważniejszych rzeczy w których pomogły ćwiczenia z urządzeniem to nietrzymanie moczu. Efekt był widoczny już po miesiącu ćwiczeń. Problem z nietrzymaniem moczy występował podczas zwykłych czynności jak kichanie, kaszel, podnoszenie cięższych rzeczy i podczas ćwiczeń np. wyskoki, ćwiczenia z obciążeniem. Nie mogłam również biegać za córką.

The kGoal Device

Is kGoal waterproof?

kGoal is splash-resistant for easy cleaning. However, it is not fully waterproof and should not be submerged (particularly the Status Light / charging plug area).

How should I clean kGoal?

We recommend mild soap and water with a wet cloth or antibacterial wipes.

Can I use kGoal with lubricants?

Yes, and in fact we strongly recommend using it with lubricant. Any silicone-safe lubricant (in other words, non-silicone-based lubricants) should be fine to use with kGoal.

Is kGoal body-safe / what is kGoal made from?

kGoal’s exterior is 100% phthalate-free, body-safe medical grade silicone.

Is kGoal rechargeable and how do you charge it?

kGoal’s rechargeable battery means you never have to worry about replacing it. To charge kGoal, just plug the provided USB cable plug into the device through the circle on the Status Light and connect the other end to any USB port.

What if I am concerned about the size?

Especially with its ability to adjust the inflation level of the Squeeze Pillow, kGoal can be comfortably used by the vast majority of users. However, there are some users for whom kGoal may be uncomfortably large (particularly users who know they have hypertonic pelvic floor muscles or pain with vaginal insertion in general). If you purchase kGoal and find that you are unable to use it for this reason, please contact us at contact@pelvifly.com and we will waive our normal return policy and issue a return/refund.

How do I recalibrate kGoal?

You can recalibrate kGoal's pressure sensor at any time by briefly pressing the power button. In most cases, this should be done after kGoal is inserted and turned on. Fully relax your pelvic floor muscles and briefly press the Power button on kGoal. This will reset the measurement baseline to whatever level of inflation and body position you are using for that workout. You can recalibrate as many times as you want, or at any time.

Can I turn the vibrations on/off?

Yes. kGoal has two separate biofeedback motors: one in the Control Arm (external to your body) and one in the Squeeze Pillow (internal). They can be individually enabled or disabled using the toggle switches in the Feedback section of the Settings tab in the kGoal app.

Is my phone/tablet compatible with kGoal?

We guarantee compatibility with iOS and Android devices. If you have any problems with the app, please contact us at contact@pelvifly.com and if we are unable to resolve them by troubleshooting together, we will issue a return/refund.

What do the scores mean / what should my scores be?

Each workout provides an overall score from 0-10 as well as additional scores assessing muscle strength, muscle endurance and muscle motor control for that workout. The algorithms to calculate the scores vary between the different workouts but they are intended to provide a metric to assess your muscle function. However, the numbers are relative and not absolute -- it is not possible to say that a certain number is the threshold of “good” scores across all different users. In general, if your scores for the same workout are (on average) increasing over time, that means that things are going well and you’re making good progress.

Usage

Is kGoal right for everyone?

No. The ultimate authorities on your body are you and your doctor, and we encourage you to check with your OB-GYN about whether kGoal is suitable for you if you are unsure.

If you experience pain while using kGoal Classic, please stop and consult with a medical professional. If you know that you have discomfort with vaginal insertion, kGoal Classic is probably not right for you, but you may be interested in our Sit-On-Top Kegel Trainer called Boost that measures your Kegels as you sit on it (with your clothes on).

If you have pelvic pain, you should see a pelvic floor physical therapist before embarking on Kegels or pelvic floor strengthening (with or without one of our products); Kegels will not be helpful (or can even exacerbate the problem) if the pain is caused by hypertonic (overly tense) pelvic floor muscles.

When should I use kGoal during pregnancy / after childbirth?

We recommend checking with your doctor about use during pregnancy, since there are certain situations (e.g. placenta previa) where kGoal may not be appropriate. Following delivery, we recommend waiting at least 6 weeks before using kGoal, but again it is best to check with your doctor about when it is appropriate to start given your specific situation.

Can I use kGoal with IUD?

Yes, generally speaking using kGoal if you have an IUD is no problem. The one limitation is that you shouldn't use it immediately after insertion of the IUD - wait until you've had your follow-up appointment and the doctor has confirmed that the IUD is staying put at the proper depth and location.

I have (enter pelvic health condition). Can I use kGoal?

If you have any existing pelvic health conditions, please check with your doctor or pelvic floor physical therapist to get their thoughts on whether kGoal is appropriate for your specific situation.

How long should it take to start seeing results?

This depends on lots of factors, including how often you exercise and how your body responds. However, we find that most users start seeing real results within about 4-6 weeks.

Is there a warranty on kGoal?

Of course! kGoal has an excellent 2-year warranty that covers any defects or malfunctions. If your kGoal stops working during that period, we will send you a replacement at no cost to you (we'll pay for shipping as well).

What is your return policy?

We have a 14-day return window, during which you may return an unopened kGoal product (still in the sealed packaging) for a full refund. However, due to the personal nature of the product, we are generally not able to accept returns of opened products. Here's how it works:

  1. A return request must be made by the customer within 14 days of purchase.
  2. We will ask the customer to send back the purchased item (customer pays for return shipping). Once the returned item is received, we will issue the refund within 2 business days. The refund payment is then usually in the recipient's account within 1-3 business days.
  3. Method of refund is the same form of payment used during purchase.
  4. Due to the personal nature of the product, the product packaging must be unopened (original seal in tact) to be eligible for a refund.
